"The health of our oceans is critical to the health of the entire planet. We cannot afford to ignore it.
- Rachel Carson
We are in the home of the amazing sea creatures we get to snorkel with - we must be respectful of their habitat. That means legs and feet up, hands to ourselves, and keeping a distance of six feet or more between us and them. Although the encounters are very exciting, we want to avoid screaming and splashing.
Whatever you arrived to the beach with, you need to leave with. We want to promote clean healthy oceans for generations to come. Manatees, turtles, and the like have no way of removing the garbage we leave behind from their home, let's always remember to respect them and do our absolute best to keep their habitat healthy and thriving. Bonus points for picking up any trash others may have left behind :)
